FormsFlow vs Typeform
Typeform charges per response. FormsFlow does not.
Here you pay for the forms the AI builds. Responses live in Google Forms, which has no volume ceiling. For anyone testing a whole class, that is the difference that decides it.
- 10 free forms a month
- Unlimited responses in Google Forms
- No credit card
Side by side
Both build forms. The difference shows up once the responses start arriving.

Typeform prices and limits checked on the official pricing page in July 2026. Typeform's free plan dropped from 100 to 10 responses a month in February 2026.
What that changes for a class of 35
Swap the word "form" for "test you actually hand out" and the math turns over.
One test, 35 responses
On Typeform's free plan, the 10-response monthly ceiling blows before the first class finishes. Google Forms puts no cap on responses, so the same test serves 35 students or 350.
Six tests a term
Six tests fit inside FormsFlow's free plan, which gives 10 forms a month. Those six tests collect well over 200 responses, a volume that on Typeform would already require the Plus plan.
Where the data lands
Responses arrive in a Google Sheets file in your own account, which you already know how to filter and total. Nothing is locked inside someone else's dashboard.
When Typeform is the right call
Not every form is a test. In three situations Typeform is still the better tool, and it is fair to say so before you find out the hard way after switching.
When the form is a marketing asset
NPS surveys, homepage lead capture, brand questionnaires. Typeform gives you theme, transition, and visual branching control that Google Forms cannot match, masked link or not.
When the destination is a CRM
Typeform talks directly to HubSpot, Salesforce, and the rest. FormsFlow delivers to Google Sheets, and the integration past that point is on you.
When volume is low and looks come first
A few dozen responses a month, a signed-off budget, and a form that has to be beautiful above all else. There, cost per response stops being the problem.
If your case is testing a class, the math inverts: response volume is high, predictable, and it repeats every month.
Masked links: without the Google Forms look
A masked link serves the same form on a clean page, without the Google header or branding. Responses still land in your spreadsheet. Available from the Pro plan up.
Clean page
The Google Forms header is gone. Students see the question, not the tool.
Data in your Google
Responses keep landing in the Google Sheets file in your account, under the permissions you already use.
One click
The link comes out ready from FormsFlow. No code, no script, no domain to configure.
How to bring over a form you already have
There is no automatic Typeform import button, and promising one would be a lie. The real path takes a few minutes and uses what FormsFlow is good at: reading content and writing questions.
Get the questions out of Typeform 3 min
Export the form as a PDF or copy the questions from the editor, then paste them into the FormsFlow chat. The AI picks up questions, options, and answer types.
Review what the AI built 3 min
Fix whatever landed wrong through the chat. Continuing the conversation costs no credits.
Export to Google Forms 30 s
The form goes to your Google account. If you want the clean page, generate the masked link.
Old responses stay in Typeform. FormsFlow rebuilds the form, it does not migrate the data you already collected.
Frequently asked questions
Is FormsFlow cheaper than Typeform?
It depends what you count. FormsFlow's cheapest paid plan is $19.90 a month and Typeform's is $28. What usually decides it is something else: Typeform caps responses per month and FormsFlow does not, because responses live in Google Forms.
Can I import my Typeform forms automatically?
No. There is no one-click import. What works is exporting the form as a PDF or copying the questions and asking FormsFlow to rebuild it. That takes a few minutes per form.
Is the FormsFlow free plan unlimited?
No. The free plan gives 10 credits a month, and 1 credit equals 1 form created. Continuing the conversation to adjust a form you already built costs nothing. What is unlimited is responses, because they live in Google Forms.
Where are the responses stored?
In your Google account, in a Google Sheets file. FormsFlow builds the form and does not keep your students' responses.
Do masked links work on phones?
Yes. The masked link page is responsive and opens the same way on desktop, tablet, and phone.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the test in plain language in the chat and review what the AI built.
Start with the test you have to hand in this week
Describe the assessment in the chat and watch the Google Form come out ready. The first 10 forms of the month cost nothing and ask for no card.
